Hi all —
As an early stage company, you live or you die based on your traction.
So it’s hard to justify long-term investments in marketing that may or may not pan out. SEO. Blogs. Podcasts. Organic social. Even paid social.
They can all take a ton of time, money, and effort to “figure out”. And you may never figure them out.
We’ve tried a bunch of different things with our marketing, and nothing really clicked until we focused on “hacking distribution”. Which means: we found people who have big email lists consisting of our target customers, and we create content specifically for them & their audience.
They include our content in their newsletters every month, and we get new customers out of it. Without paying. We create really helpful content they WANT to share with their audience.
This way, we just have to create 1-2 good pieces of content per month, and look to add 1-2 new content partners.
Faster growth, less wasted effort.
Hi Rob, It'd be great to see a list of the articles you published on other sites. Your outreach emails would also be interesting to see. This could be a really great resource if you had specific examples.
